We at Craftlife are passionate about art, and aim to imbibe appreciation of the vivid, endlessly diverse Indian craft, in everyone's lives. Our humble beginnings started in the vibrant, pink city of Jaipur. Over the last 8 years of being in the business of fashion jewellery manufacturing, we have been at the receiving end of sublime love and appreciation, that knows no bounds.

About the founder : Born to a family of ardent artisans, Ira Purohit grew up learning about the intricacies and subtleties of Indian miniature art from her father, one of the most renowned painting artists and art curators of his times. She quit her successful 5-year stint as an investment banker and ventured into what she always knew was her métier -- Jewellery.

Today, Craftlife specializes in manufacturing and export of some of the most fashionable Imitation Fashion jewellery like Pacchi, Thewa and handmade threaded Jewellery, picked from the cornerstones of crackerjack local craftsmen from across the city. A brief discussion with a tormented overseas client about how unorganised the Indian market was, led to the inception of Craftlife. The client in question, had recently had to contact 4 different suppliers for 4 distinct forms of Jewellery. Add to it, the agony of negotiations, comparisons, authenticity checks, price finalisation, payments modes, etc… -- all of that, 4 times over!

Craftlife was conceptualized with a sole mission of bringing together all forms of (Indian) traditional and fashion jewellery, under one roof. Today, with a team that is spread across the country, we bring to you jewellery, paintings and handicrafts from numerous Indian states, sourced directly from skilled local craftsmen -- all brought together under one unified portal, accessible with the click of a button from the comforts of your living room. Needless to say therefore, that every little masterpiece you come by on our website, has been personally picked, quality tested, and certified by us.
